Bangladesh are out of practice today as their first warm-up match before ICC World Cup 2019, that was against Pakistan has been called off without a ball being bowled due to incessant rain in Cardiff.

The tigers started the tour with a big hand defeat against Ireland in the practice match but turned back strongly by winning the Tri-nation series trophy defeating Ireland and West Indies.

It was, however, the first ever multiple nation competition title won by Bangladesh.

Before the mega ICC event will kick start on May 30, the subcontinent dark horses will have another chance to accustom with the condition when they will be playing their second warm-up game against India on May 28.

Although the warm-up game against Pakistan have been abandoned, they will have another chance to spark skills against India in the second preparation match before the actual tournament begins.

Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, is therefore, highly hopeful of Bangladesh’s prospective in the World Cup in larger scale after the title win in the Tri-nation series.

Pakistan, after being blown out against Afghanistan are highly concerned about their present form ahead of the mega ICC event.
