Bhuvneshwar Kumar joins nets before West Indies clash

Two days prior to their encounter against West Indies, India were forced to conduct the training at indoors after overnight rain hit the ground badly.
However the team management had made it optional; at the end, only four cricketers of the squad showed up in the 90-minutes drill, they are Vijay Shankar, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and skipper Virat Kohli.
Although paceman Bhuvneshwar appeared in the training, he is not likely to be included in the playing XI against West Indies.
“With Mohammed Shami picking up a hat-trick in the previous game the management is considering offering Bhuvneshwar some more rest to completely heal,” a BCCI source said.
India might have gone undergone another intense question of when to play Rishabh Pant?
Leaving Pant out of the World Cup squad evoked criticisms for the time being on contrary to few who found the decision justified considering the inexperience of the 21-year old Delhi born.
But the untimely departure of opener Shikhar Dhawan on account of thumb injury paved the way for Pant to fly for England to join in the team.
The number four and six position in the team are occupied with Kedar Jadhav and MS Dhoni respectively. As Jadhav have already added a half century in his tally, it is now out of probability to leave him out of the sight.
For India, since Vijay Shankar has also been sweating hard in the nets, Pant will probably have to wait more to step into the playing eleven.
India are still unbeaten in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 thus made them strong contenders for the semi-finals. The mighty subcontinent team are scheduled to face West Indies in their next encounter.
It can be noted that the men in blue defeated their arch-rival neighbors Pakistan for the seventh time in the World Cup.
