England burned down the World Cup glory and lost the Ashes this season as Australia emerged as winners in the fourth Test at Old Trafford on Sunday beating England by a massive margin of 185 runs taking the unassailable 2-1 lead in the five match series.

Chasing an improbable target of 383, England were bundled out scoring 197. It is the first time since 2002-03 when Australia managed to win the Ashes. Prior to the ongoing series, Australia had lost four series in England.

There were huge applause from fans thrilled after Aussies’ win and cheered for Steve Smith, Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc.
