England will face South Africa in the inaugural match of the ICC World Cup 2019 at the Oval on Tuesday.

This venue, with a capacity of 25, 500 visitors, will host 5 matches of the World Cup this year. Zimbabwe and Ireland, which have not been finalized for the World Cup, are held in the ten-team tournament.

This is the first time since 1992 that the Cricket World Cup will be held in the Robin League system.

The first match of Bangladesh in the World Cup will be held on June 2 with South Africa.

With buzzing hopes for the hosts, the mega event is going to kick off tonight with one of the top favorites England appearing in the opening match.

On the other hand, a well-combined South Africa are also ready to shed off their choker’s reputation. It is hugely frustrating for a team like South Africa not to be able to reach in the final of the biggest event of cricket til to date.

Other teams at the top of the ICC Rankings are also oozing with confidence before the starting of the competition in England and Wales.

Although it would be tougher for subcontinent sides to settle down in English weather and condition in general, both India and Pakistan are considered favorites to win the title having Bangladesh as the dark horse in the sideline.

The grand opening ceremony of the ICC World Cup 2019 will be telecast live from London at 3.30 pm tonight before England and South Africa will lock horns.
