PCB cancels PSL 2020 semi-final & final matches
The foreign recruitment of all franchise teams had already left the competition.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is just added in the list of suspended or postponed sporting events world wide amidst growing coronavirus scare.
On Tuesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made the decision to call off the ongoing PSL with only three matches to go – the two semi-finals and the final.
Although it is stated that the competition is postponed for an indefinite period of time and that the fixture would be rescheduled, it is highly unlikely that the remaining matches will take place.
According to Pakistan media sources, the decision of calling off the PSL has been taken unanimously by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and PSL franchises.
In an earlier statement, PCB curtailed the usual length of the tournament to make it end four days before the scheduled time by introducing semi-finals for the first time instead of play-offs.
Both the semi-finals were scheduled for Tuesday, 17th March(today), whereas the final was slated to be held on Wednesday in Lahore. Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, and Karachi Kings are the four teams that have qualified for the semi-finals.
Previously the Sindh government and PCB decided to organize Karachi-leg of the PSL barring any spectators. Later similar measurements were also taken for the matches in Lahore.
The foreign recruitment of all franchise teams had already left the competition following government restrictions from respective countries.
