Star Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan made through another hat-trick when he booked his third T20 hat-trick on Wednesday representing Adelaide Strikers in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL).

He starred the show taking three wickets in three consecutive deliveries of back to back overs against Sydney Sixers.

The 21-year old dismissed James Vince and Jack Edwards in the last two balls of the 11th over and cleanly bowled Jordan Silk in the first delivery of his following over.

In a full delivery outside off-stump, Rashid drew Vince in front and the batsman edged the ball to the wicket-keeper’s hand.

Therefore, a googly in the next delivery beat Edwards. Field umpires ruled the batsman leg before wicket as the ball hit on his pad although hawk eyes judged it otherwise.

In the third successive delivery, right-handed Silk was totally outsmart by another well-judged googly which rushed to rattle his stumps.

Meanwhile Rashid Khan’s blistering bowling could not save Adelaide Strikers from being defeated in that particular match by two wickets. For Sydney Sixers, Josh Hazlewood sealed the victory with three back to back boundaries.

Batting first, Strikers posted 135 on the board while Sixers chased down the total with eight balls to spare.

Adelaide Strikers will meet Melbourne Renegades in their next match on Sunday (Jan 12).
