New Zealand eclipse hot-favorite India to reach to CWC 2019 final

Years of planning & hard work come down into a single day. It’s world cup final at “The Home of Cricket”.

England are in the final after long 27 years. When England were excited at 2015 their embarrassing defeat against Bangladesh few people were tipping them as they are the potential champions in 4 years’ time. For this 2019 edition it’s totally different scenario for them.

Throughout the tournament they played different brand of Cricket. Against Pakistan they were sloppy & ugly but they bounce back quite nicely. England defeated Africa, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan & New Zealand quite comprehensively.

They just played a brand of cricket where attack was the best defense. On the other hand New Zealand was bit shaky. They defeated Sri Lanka Afghanistan comprehensively but had some close match against Bangladesh, West Indies & South Africa.

They had some luck also. Luckily they have a better run rate comparing with Pakistan & that was enough to take them in to the semis. Today it’s a big day for both the teams. Both defeated two big fish Australia & India in Semi Finals with grand style.

Both England and New Zealand aiming to win CWC for first time. Yesterday Kane Williamson said it is possible that Boult does not balk at the first few boundaries either of Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow drive off him, like slaps on a bleary-eyed face first thing in the morning.

It is possible that Boult resolves to keep going full, in order to squeeze out whatever swing there may be, little or a lot. As he did against Quinton de Kock earlier in a memorable first over when it looked as if the fuller he went the more firmly and cleanly de Kock hit him until he hit de Kick’s stumps.

It is possible that he curls that white Kookaburra through either, even both, or finds a shin, firmly placed and set to drive. Few minutes to go for a brand new champion after 1996 world cup. Who will be the lucky one? All waiting just came down to 4 overs. Best wishes for both the teams.
